Gathering - Al Likah

Gathering - Al LikahThe Gathering Summer Update - Friday 28th – Sunday 30th October 2011

Ah La Wa Sahla,

It is with great pleasure we advise that registrations for The Gathering are now open. Judging from the enquiries we have had, this once in a life time, historical event is going to be a hugely popular occasion.

We have been collating a database of those who are intending to attend The Gathering. If you know of anyone who may be interested in attending we would be grateful if you could circulate the website address. Individuals who don’t have access to the Internet can be posted a hard copy of the registration form or you may wish to download the form and forward it on.

We have endeavoured to present a balanced programme that allows enough free time for people to do their own thing as well as provide a structured programme of interesting and meaningful events.
The pinnacle of The Gathering will be the Black Tie Ball which will be held on the Saturday night at the Town Hall. We have secured a top band that is equally comfortable playing a Viennese Waltz as Rock ‘n Roll from the 50’s and anything in between.

I cannot emphasise enough the need to register early. Please read the registration information posted on the website (a paper copy will be sent to those who don’t have a computer) as numbers for the ball are limited to the capacity of the Town Hall for a sit down dinner (approx 500). The first 100 people to register for the entire event will go into a draw to win an exciting prize which will be announced on the Saturday night.

The count down has begun. We look forward to welcoming you and your families to our beautiful city and extending to you some old fashioned Lebanese hospitality.

Kindest regards,

Richard Joseph
